I haven't updated this journal in about 3 years, which is a fairly long time. I've also neglected my gallery a little bit. Maybe a lot. I've decided to get back on the horse and begin submitting photos again. Getting a zoo membership helped with that. Just one small note. Unless otherwise stated none of my photos have been edited or retouched. My process is more point, shoot, and upload. I plan on doing some work with editing software in the future but at the moment everything is completely original/raw.

I'm quite proud of myself right now.

It might be too early to get excited but come July, I might have a new camera! I've been doing tis course that teaches job skills and stuff, I get paid to go. The four weeks are almost up and I'll have enough to buy a new Canon bundle and still be able to put some into savings! I'm extremely excited about this. My dad and I went to the camera show a few weeks ago and we got to try out some models. My favorites were the Nikon Digital SLR's ( as well as the Nikon Coolpix models with the touch screens ) But unfortunately, I would only have enough to buy a body. I'll work my way up to Nikon!
